New Police Officers Graduate From Academy

They joined 14 law enforcement agencies, including the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Training Center graduated 56 recruits at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek earlier this month. They will join 14 law enforcement agencies including the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.

The basic police academy is a 27-week long program covering 42 learning domains. Typically, the recruits undergo field training with their new agencies.

The complete list of agencies that hired the recruits: California Alcoholic Beverage Control, BART, Berkeley, Concord, Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office, Daly City, Hercules, Napa County Sheriff's Department, Pleasant Hill, Richmond, San Mateo, San Pablo, Vallejo, and Walnut Creek.
