Got College Marketing Students?

Is your college student in need of some real-world perspective about getting a job in marketing?

As an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at St. Mary's College, a marketing consultant with over 25 years of experience, a guest lecturer at Stanford, Haas, Kellogg and other top universities, I have developed a program that will help your son or daughter more confidently pursue a career in marketing. I'm offering a 6-week marketing career bootcamp (2 nights per week for 6 weeks) where students will learn about themselves (via Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), about marketing in the real world, how to find marketing career opportunities, how to build a personal brand that wows recruiters, and how to interview intelligently for marketing positions. They'll also work on a small project for a local business or non-profit that they can put on their resumes—real-world experience.

A couple years ago, when I started to think about what we had spent on tutors, college counselors, test prep and finally college tuition, it dawned on me that my first daughter was going to graduate from a top university with no real awareness of or guidance around how to pursue a career in marketing. I've heard the same from countless parents and students studying communications, liberal arts, and marketing all over the country. Luckily, I could help her cross the finish line.
