Free Help For Seniors To Stay In Their Lamorinda Homes

Can't keep up with home maintenance tasks? The Rotary Club can help.

LAMORINDA, CA — Many of us dream of "aging in place," staying in our own longtime home instead of going to assisted living or moving in with a family member. But even routine tasks can become difficult for older residents.

Here's a free resource that you may not know about - the Rotary Club HOME Team helps check off honey-do's that are no longer safe for seniors, such as climbing ladders, or that they no longer have the grip-strength to handle, such as fixing toilets.

HOME stands for Home Maintenance for the Elderly. The service is for anyone age 60 or older.
