LAMORINDA, CA — Caltrans will close the Number Four bore of the Caldecott Tunnel on state Highway 24 westbound Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, causing delays, transportation officials say.
The Number Four bore will be closed from 9:30 p.m. Monday until 4 a.m. Tuesday, from 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to 4 a.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday, according to Caltrans.
The closure will allow workers to wash the inside of the tunnel, transportation officials said.
