LAMORINDA, CA — Wildland fire training off Bear Creek Road on Monday was considered a success.
Moraga-Orinda Fire Department and the East Bay Municipal Utilities District (EBMUD) participated in the live fire training drill. According to a social media posting "about one acre and were able to practice a number of wildland fire suppression skills. The fire was held within the control lines and mop up began at 3:30 PM. Forty firefighters participated in the exercises."
