Shooting In Concord Leaves 1 Injured

The shooting happened late Sunday night, police said.

CONCORD, CA — At least one person was injured following a shooting in Concord late Sunday night, according to Concord police. The shooting was reported at 11:54 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of San Miguel Road and Hanford Avenue, Concord police Lt. Sean Donnelly said.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital, Donnelly said.

There were no suspects and no arrests had been made as of 1:40 a.m. Monday. Donnelly expected investigators to remain at the scene throughout the morning.
