Utilities Work on Moraga Road
There will be lane closures and delays in the vicinity of School Street on Thursday and Friday
LAMORINDA, CA — The Lafayette Police Department is advising drivers to expect lane closures on Moraga Road and School Street during the daytime on both Thursday and Friday. In addition, repairs continue on St. Mary's Road.
PG&E is doing repair between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Moraga Road at School Street. Traffic in some directions is reduced to one lane. Traffic controls are in place.
Meanwhile, PG&E is continuing the repair work on St. Mary’s Road that it's been working on through the summer months. There are also traffic controls in place there.

Lafayette Police suggest avoiding these roads to keep from getting caught in traffic.
The police department also advises that it is enforcing traffic laws around schools to keep them safe for kids.
