Millions In Unclaimed Prizes From Lottery in April

Winning tickets sold in Ravenswood, Lincolnwood and Northlake this month.

CHICAGO, IL — If your spring cleaning uncovers some lottery tickets, be sure to verify they aren't some of the outstanding winning tickets still unclaimed. In April alone, millions of dollars in unclaimed winning lottery tickets have been sold in Chicago and nearby suburbs, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Most recently, on April 26, a winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $350,000 was sold in Northlake at the AF Truck Stand at 300 W. North Ave.

A $5,000,000 Mega Millions Ticket winning ticket was sold at the Snappy Convenience Center at 2800 West Lawrence on April 14.

In Lincolnwood, on April 5, a winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Bucky's Express at 6401 North Cicero.

Prior to this month, an $800,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 5959 Belmont on Feb. 19. A Power Ball ticket worth $1,000,000 was sold in Stone Park at Stone Park Drugs & Liquor at 1608 N. Mannheim on Jan. 28. And a Lucky Day Lotto winning ticket worth $350,000 was sold at the A & B Convenience Store inside the Thompson Center at 100 W. Randolph in Chicago on Aug. 16 of last year.
