Man Sexually Assaults Woman in Horner Park Alley

The woman was treated at a nearby hospital late Sunday.

CHICAGO - A woman was taken to a North Side hospital Sunday evening after being sexually assaulted in the city's Horner Park neighborhood.

The incident occurred not far from North Center and Lincoln Square around 9:10 p.m., according to a CBS News report. A man wearing a dark sweatshirt reportedly grabbed a female pedestrian from behind on Campbell Avenue near the 2500 block of West Pensacola.

After taking the woman's belongings, the possibly handgun-armed man forced her into an alley, where he sexually assaulted her, the story said.
