We are a not-for-profit providing scholarships to exemplary High School Seniors in financial need in order to pursue a college education.

The HEAR Scholarship Foundation awarded 16 new scholarships at its’ annual award ceremony at St. Ignatius College Prep on Thursday May 11, 2017. These four-year, $20,000 scholarships are given to exemplary high school seniors in financial need to attend college.

Since establishing in 2011, HEAR has now awarded 55 scholarships, and committed over $1,000,000 to help students in need fulfill their dreams of achieving a higher level of education. Some colleges these students now attend include Yale, Harvard, Boston College, De Paul, Northwestern, Marquette, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth and Missouri to name a few. Current disciplines include Medicine, Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience, Media, Education, Finance, Journalism and Psychology.

Current HEAR President Robert Wise says "All our Scholarship Recipients are exceptional students. They are of strong character, high achievers academically, and they have a commitment to service in the community. Without our scholarship, many of them would not be able to attend college. We are making a positive difference in their life."
