Brooklyn Roommate Fatally Stabbed Roommate, Police Say

Almond Love was arrested Monday morning for murdering his roommate Andre Lee in the Ocean Avenue home they shared, police said.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — A man named Love been charged with stabbing his roommate to death in Brooklyn Sunday afternoon, police said.

Almond Love, 40, stands accused of stabbing Andre Lee, 36, in the chest inside the apartment they shared on Ocean Avenue and Avenue J about 5:15 p.m. Sunday evening, said police.

Love was arrested on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the 70th Precinct just after midnight Monday morning, police said.

Cops found the knife in the apartment and Lee was taken to New York Community Hospital where he later died, said police.
