Teen Faces Murder Charge For KHF Bodega Shooting, Cops Say

PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn teen has been charged with the KHF Bodega shooting that cost one local man his life, police said.

Joshua Louis, 18, was arrested on murder and weapon possession charges for fatally shooting Dwayne Smith inside the deli on Flatbush and Parkside avenues deli the evening of Oct. 10, police said Thursday.

Smith, 41, later died in Kings County Hospital, police said.

Louis, of East New York, is slated to be arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court but more information about when was not immediately available.
