My Pillow CEO, Lake, Gosar To Speak At Trump Rally In Arizona

During the Save America rally in Florence Trump said he would share his complaints about the investigation of the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot.

ARIZONA β€” Kari Lake, Paul Gosar and the CEO of My Pillow will be joining Donald Trump for his Save America rally in Florence this weekend, according to an announcement on Trump's website.

Trump announced last week that he would speak about the events of Jan. 6, 2021 and the country's response to it at the rally set to begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Canyon Moon Ranch in Florence. Florence is in Pinal County, around 60 miles southeast of Phoenix.

Several notable Arizonans are set to make an appearance during the rally. They include:

  • Kari Lake, a former Phoenix news anchor and Republican, who Trump endorsed in the 2022 race for Arizona governor.
  • Arizona State Rep. Mark Finchem, R-Oro Valley, who Trump endorsed in the race for Secretary of State of Arizona.
  • U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, who represents Arizona’s 4th Congressional District. Gosar made the national news in Novembers after he tweeted a video that included animation showing him slicing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with a sword.
  • U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th Congressional District.
  • U.S. Rep. Debbie Lesko, who represents Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
  • Kelli Ward, chairwoman of the Republican Party of Arizona.

Also set to speak are:

  • Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr. and Donald J. Trump for President 2020 Advisory Board member
  • Boris Epshteyn, Donald J. Trump for President 2020 Strategic Advisor and Advisory Board member
  • Mike Lindell, CEO of My Pillow, who has claimed that Trump did not lose the 2020 election in Arizona.

Trump had planned to speak his piece against the congressional committee investigating the events of Jan. 6, 2021, during a Florida press conference set for the one-year anniversary of the deadly riot, but announced Jan. 4 that the press conference was canceled, The Associated Press reported. Instead he said he'd speak about some of those issues during the rally in Florence.

Gates for the event are set to open at 8 a.m. Saturday, with doors opening at 2 p.m. The program is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. and Trump is planning to speak at 7 p.m.
