ASU, UA Top 10 In Online Bachelor's Programs: U.S. News

See where the universities rank in the study that was released Tuesday.

ARIZONA β€”Both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona were rated among the top 10 nationally in Best Online Bachelor's Programs in a study released Tuesday by U.S. News & World Report.

In the study, Arizona State ranked No. 6 out of 361 schools. which are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence, the publication said.

Arizona is tied for No. 7 on the list with Ohio State University and University of Central Florida.

Arizona State, which according to U.S. News has 58,956 enrolled in online programs, also was ranked No. 1 in Best Online Bachelor's in Business Programs, No. 3 in Best Online Bachelor's Programs for Veterans and it tied for No. 6 in Best Online Bachelor's in Psychology Programs.

"As a university, we are committed to ensuring that a robust slate of rigorous, high-quality degrees offered by a Tier I public university are made accessible beyond the walls of our physical campus," said Phil Regier, university dean for educational initiatives and CEO of EdPlus at ASU. "We are honored to be recognized as a leader in this space and for the academic excellence of the programs offered through ASU Online."

Arizona said that in the fall of 2021, Arizona Online had enrolled more than 7,300 students in undergraduate and graduate programs, an increase of more than 1,000 students from the previous year.,

In the U.S. News study, Arizona was ranked No. 4 in Best Online Bachelor's Programs for Veterans, it tied for No. 8 in Best Online Bachelor's in Business Programs and it tied for No. 11 in Best Online Bachelor's in Psychology Programs.
