ILLINOIS — Scattered showers are possible Saturday, before the weather turns sunny and dry again on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday will have a high of 90 degrees, and scattered showers are possible in the morning, the weather service said.

Accuweather calls for a high of 92 on Saturday, with a gusty thunderstorm Saturday afternoon.

The weather service said storms are possible after 7 p.m. Saturday, and winds could gust as high as 15 mph. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are also possible.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 81 degrees, according to the weather service forecast.

The dry weather will stick around into the work week, as both Monday and Tuesday are set to be sunny with a high of 78 and 84 degrees, respectively.
