Motorcyclist Dies In Hospital Following Crash

The crash happened Monday night in Lake Villa. The driver killed in the crash has been identified as Adam Tesch.

LAKE COUNTY, IL —A 48-year-old Round Lake The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified a 48-year-old Round Lake Beach man killed in a motorcycle crash in Lake Villa as Adam Tesch.

The collision happened at about 11:30 p.m. Monday when a 2017 Harley Davidson headed east on Monaville Road near Old Monaville Road went off the roadway and drove through a grassy area before coming to a stop at the end of a driveway, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office.

First responders found Tesch, who was unconscious, and took him to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died at the hospital on Tuesday, authorities said Thursday.

Preliminary results from an autopsy show Tesch died from multiple traumatic injuries as a results of a crash. The Major Crash Assistance Team of Lake County is assisting the Lake Villa Police Department with investigating the collision.
