Man Dragged To Death As Clothes Trapped In Subway Door On UWS: Reports

COLUMBUS CIRCLE, NYC – A man was killed after his clothes got trapped in a subway train door and he was dragged onto tracks at Columbus Circle, the MTA and reports said.

The man, who has yet to be named, was hit by an oncoming 1 train at 59 St/Columbus Circle station shortly after 4 p.m. Monday, reports said.

The incident caused extensive delays to the 1, 2 and 3 service, the MTA said.
