Get ready to experience the magic of old Hollywood at the Silver Screen Social on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Pembroke Pines Country Club in Pembroke, NH. The <a href="https://giveto.concordhospital.org/stewardship/scholarship-fund" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Concord Hospital Trust Scholarship Fund</a> for nursing and allied health students is officially open and accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year.
 <a href="https://giveto.concordhospital.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Concord Hospital Trust</a>, the philanthropic arm of <a href="https://www.concordhospital.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Concord Hospital Health System</a> (CHHS), oversees the Fund, which was made possible by the generosity of CHHS&rsquo;s many benefactors. With the vision to inspire and enable students to pursue careers in nursing and allied healthcare professions, the mission of the Fund is to continue the availability of quality health care to the communities served by the health system. With between $45,000 and $60,000 awarded annually, scholarships typically range from $500 to $3,000.
Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic merit, personal character, and other criteria determined by a sub-committee of volunteers. Students who have lived within CHHS&rsquo;s primary service area for more than one year, or graduated from a high school in the service area within the past five years, or are employed by CHHS are eligible to apply.
The 2025-2026 school year application is now available on the <a href="https://giveto.concordhospital.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Concord Hospital Trust</a> website at <a href="https://giveto.concordhospital.org/stewardship/scholarship-fund" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">giveto.concordhospital.org/stewardship/scholarship-fund</a>. All applications must be received or postmarked by March 30, 2025. Award decisions will be completed by June.

These gifts contribute to a $2.8 million campaign supporting major renovations at The Family Place at Concord Hospital, innovative pilot programs, and critical resources for families.
"A unique aspect of The Family Place at Concord Hospital is patients remain in the same room through every stage of labor, delivery, and recovery,&rdquo; said Melissa Devine, director of women and children&rsquo;s value stream at <a href="https://www.concordhospital.org/medical-services/maternity-care/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">The Family Place at Concord Hospital</a>. &ldquo;The upgrades will enhance that unique experience, ensuring families thrive in a safe and inviting environment during their stay."

<ul><li>Pediatrics Services: $10,400 from Ron and Alice Cohen.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maternity Comfort Closet: $7,500 from Mary Louise Billings Trust, Citizens Bank, N.A., Trustee and $1,500 from Speedway Children&rsquo;s Charities.</li></ul>
&ldquo;We established a Maternity Comfort Closet at <a href="https://www.concordhospital.org/medical-services/womens-health-care/gynecology/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Concord Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology</a> in Laconia to support parents,&rdquo; said Mario Rosario, practice manager. &ldquo;It provides newborn clothing and other essentials to help families prepare for their baby&rsquo;s arrival and address the need for basic necessities in a meaningful way.&rdquo;
