Here's How You Get Arrested Twice In One Day

1) A Brooklyn man accused of striking a woman in the face with a fistful of keys was arrested twice in one day. Frank Wolter, 47, who was charged with assault, menacing, criminal damaging, and unlawful restraint for slugging a woman in the face after she handed him a set of keys, had just gotten out of the lockup when he became belligerent at Brooklyn City Hall. Officers told him to leave, but he wouldn't. He wanted to plead his case, saying the woman hit him first. Then Wolter got himself arrested again.
2) If you love The Rustic Restaurant in Rocky River, you have three to nine months to get a last meal there. Known for its homey, American dishes and unique environment, owner Kurt Riegelsberger says he will close the 75-year-old eatery for good and retire. His grandfather Tony Riegelsberger started The Rustic Restaurant in 1947 when he moved a Michigan log cabin here piece by piece. "It's really hard and difficult," Kurt told dining correspondent Douglas Trattner. "A lot of people have been here forever, the customers who have been coming here forever."
3) The Sisters of Charity, which ran the Parmadale children's home, have set up a victims assistance fund after News 5 Cleveland exposed years of abuse at the hands of nuns who ran the facility. Individuals seeking restitution can apply until the end of this year. Compensation, however, will come in the form of services or items according to the needs of the claimants. Many of the children traumatized by the nuns are now in their 50s and 60s.
4) In a little more than a year, Cleveland Water has replaced more than 200 lead-lined water service lines at Cuyahoga County daycare centers — more than half of the 445 state-licensed child-care operations in the county housed in buildings built before 1953 — at no cost to the daycare centers. Drinking water with lead can cause a number of serious health problems. Reaching all of these child-care providers, however, to tell them about the free pipe upgrades to protect their children proved to be difficult, yet every pipe with lead in it has now been replaced.
5) The days of single-use plastic bags are numbered at Giant Eagle. On Oct. 20, the grocer will cease to offer them in all its stores. As a result, 6 million pounds of plastic will be kept out of the waste stream every year, according to Giant Eagle, which announced the change on Thursday. Paper bags cost 5 cents a bag. Customers are encouraged to bring their own reusable bags. Giant Eagle announced its environmental sustainability initiative in 2019.

🏈 BrownsTown: As of post time, the Carolina Panthers are 1.5-point favorites over the Cleveland Browns in this Sunday's season opener in Charlotte. Baker Mayfield will face Myles Garrett and Denzel Ward, his old teammates, and likely will bring some extra fire. Garrett says "I've got to take him out." Experts expect a low-scoring game as both teams are fielding strong defenses. The Browns, however, have a big question mark at quarterback.
